Microsoft’s Knowledge Network Group hired Lux to design and develop a 2.5-hour multimedia project for use by the company’s entire employee base.

Lux used Microsoft Producer to create the piece, capturing, editing, synchronizing, and publishing audio, video, PowerPoint slides, and an HTML-based transcript with a table of contents.

Lux used Microsoft Producer to create the piece, capturing, editing, synchronizing, and publishing audio, video, PowerPoint slides, and an HTML-based transcript with a table of contents.

The presentation also utilizes Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange (SAMI) code to sync the transcript with the audio and video. The SAMI format is similar to the technology used to facilitate closed captioning for television audiences.
