Microsoft Chooses Lux to Edit Project, Publisher, and Visio Documentation; Write and Edit Project Software Developer's Kit

Lux, a Seattle-based online design, development, and documentation company, announced today that it has been chosen by Microsoft's Business Tools Division User Experience group (BTDUX) to edit new user materials for several future products including Microsoft Project, Publisher, and Visio. Additionally, Lux has been selected to write and edit portions of the Microsoft Project 2002 Software Developer's Kit (SDK).
"It is a tremendous opportunity to add value to Microsoft's ongoing efforts," said Lux Managing Director Jayson Jarmon. Lux founders Jarmon and Ben Thompson specialized in producing User Assistance materials at Microsoft prior to founding Saltmine Creative, Inc. in 1995 and Lux in 2001. "Documentation services continue to be a strong and growing part of our integrated outsourcing platform."
The Microsoft BTDUX group provides design and usability services and produces user assistance materials for Microsoft Project, Visio, Publisher, Streets and Trips, and Map Point.
