Lux Designs Website and Online Portfolio for Acclaimed Photographer David Robbins
September 20, 2004 – Seattle
Lux, a Seattle- and London-based online design, development, and documentation company, announced today the launch of a new website for acclaimed international photographer David Robbins.
The sleek, modernist site is designed to highlight Robbins' work, which includes environmental portraiture, international travel and culture, ecotourism, and adventure travel.
"We are very proud of the Internet framework we've developed to showcase David's work," said Lux Vice President and Creative Director Ben Thompson. "We see the site as a kind of visual portfolio that frames David's work without detracting from the visual content. It's rare to be able to work with an artist at this level of visual caliber."
Robbins has over fifteen years' experience working on assignment throughout the world for many leading American and European publications including Conde Nast, National Geographic, the New York Times, Sunset, and many others.
Lux is an online design, development, and documentation company based in Seattle and London. Lux clients include Microsoft, PEMCO, T-Mobile, Tommy Bahama, IDX, Valley Medical Center, Akamai Technologies, the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, and Rabanco.
