Lux Launches Rabanco Recycling Website

Lux, a Seattle- and London-based online design, development, and documentation company, launched a new website for Rabanco, provider of collection, disposal, and recycling services for much of Washington State.

The information-rich site features collection routes for various communities, recycling information, and tours of the Rabanco's recycling and power facilities, with specific subsections for Bellevue, Seattle, and Bremerton, Washington. Lux designed and built the website and tools, and provided original photography.

"This was a great project for Lux, as far as putting the whole shop to work: it ran the gamut from design and development to branding and photography," said Ben Thompson, vice president and creative director of Lux. "Rabanco provides a fundamental municipal service to the region, and we're glad to be a part of their ongoing success."

Rabanco Companies provides critical solid waste collection and disposal as well as recycling collection and processing services to hundreds of thousands of Washington State residents.

Rabanco, along with Allied Waste Companies, operates solid waste collection systems, landfills, recycling centers and portable sanitation services throughout the Northwest. Their collection companies are located in Seattle, Bellevue, Lynnwood, Kent and Goldendale, Washington. Their landfill operations are located in Roosevelt, Washington providing excellent security and easy access via their extensive intermodal system.

Lux is an online design, development, and documentation company based in Seattle and London. Lux clients include Microsoft, PEMCO, T-Mobile, Tommy Bahama, IDX, Valley Medical Center, Akamai Technologies, and the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute.
